Mindee is a seasoned and dynamic executive, who has devoted her career to the growth and betterment of Barnum Financial Group, a financial services firm she founded with her husband, Paul.

Barnum Financial Group is an award-winning firm with over 500 advisors &
associates serving 280,000 clients across the country. Throughout her 30-year career Mindee has been a major contributor to Barnum’s overall growth and success. Most notably Mindee is known throughout the firm and industry for her strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and ability to foster a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.

Presently, Mindee Blanco is the Chief Operating Officer focused on building and leading strategic initiatives, business development initiatives, firm financials, mergers & acquisitions, and overseeing the firm’s physical infrastructure. Most recently Mindee created the firms first ever team devoted to creating, centralizing, and communicating business and financial models through the firm. Prior to that, Mindee created the Wealth Strategies Division which includes specialists in the core product areas of insurance, annuities, and investments as well as financial planning and wealth management. In addition, Mindee has led Barnum’s lead management and client relationship management technology initiatives. Early in her career, Mindee led the firm’s effort to create a team proficient in the effective processing and placing of new business.


In 2020, Mindee co-created Barnum’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging council who is committed to driving a respectful, empowering, and inclusive environment in the Financial Services Industry. The core focus of the DEIB is to embody a culture of belonging through awareness, understanding, opportunity and education making Barnum a place where all people feel valued and accepted.


In 2006, Mindee and her husband Paul started the Foundation for Life, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization established as a vehicle through which Barnum employees could provide financial support to organizations in need throughout their local communities. Since its inception, Foundation for Life has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support many local organizations. In addition, Mindee serves on the Board of Directors of Near and Far Aid Association.


Mindee and Paul are active members and supporters of Fairfield’s Parents Leadership Council. They are contributors toward the Leo D. Mahoney Arena. They reside in Fairfield, CT, with their three children, Jennee, Sydnee, and Paul ’24, a management major in the Dolan School of Business.
