Samuel H. Goodhue is a Wealth Management Advisor and Financial Planner with Barnum Financial Group. Since entering the financial services industry in 2008, he has worked with individuals, families, business owners, and retirees to develop coordinated strategies for wealth accumulation, investment management, retirement planning and income, risk management, and the preservation of family wealth.

Samuel’s practice is built around long-term relationships, personal accountability, and a comprehensive planning process. He works closely with clients to understand their priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and bring the different areas of their financial lives together into a clear and practical strategy.

Samuel began his financial services career in New York City in 2008 with a John Hancock-affiliated firm. In 2015, he joined Barnum Financial Group in Elmsford, where he has continued to serve clients through the firm’s transition from MetLife to MassMutual.

In 2010, Samuel received Best in Class recognition through John Hancock’s Achieving Client Excellence program. He later qualified for MassMutual’s Leaders Conference in 2017.

Samuel earned a B.A. from the University of Colorado and later completed the CU Business Intensive Certificate Program through the university’s Leeds School of Business. He holds the Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations and is insurance licensed in 22 states.

Samuel has deep roots in the Bedford, Katonah, and Lewisboro communities. His wife was born and raised in Waccabuc, where they now live and are raising their three sons. Outside of work, Samuel enjoys fishing, golf, running, skiing, and spending time with his family and their two dogs.
