ABOUT EUGENE A. PEYSAKH
Eugene has been in the financial services industry for over 13 years. Prior to joining Barnum, he operated his financial strategy, insurance, investments and wealth management practice at Northwestern Mutual. Prior to Northwestern, he performed equity research at Thomas Weisel Partners and Stifel, analyzing and writing numerous reports on medical technology stocks. Before and after equity research, Eugene analyzed, made targeted investments, and assisted two senior analysts in picking stocks at equity long/short strategy hedge funds Sivik Global Healthcare and Traxis Partners. Prior to Sivik, Eugene worked as an investment banker at Cowen & Company, then part of Societe Generale, and assisted in raising over a billion dollars of capital for companies through initial public and secondary offerings, as well as aiding companies through the mergers & acquisitions process, completing two transactions.
Eugene graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce, the University of Virginia in 2000 with a bachelors degree in Commerce and specializations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He and his family reside in Scarsdale, NY where they actively participate in soccer, music, swimming, and the Boy Scouts of America.
