Shawn’s path to financial services began with a powerful realization: the right advisor can transform someone’s life, while the wrong one can derail years of hard work. Growing up, he watched his father build a successful career in the brokerage business and saw firsthand how thoughtful financial guidance creates lasting security. He also heard too many stories of people approaching retirement only to discover their advisor hadn’t truly prioritized their goals.
That’s why Shawn entered this business: to be the advisor people deserve. He believes financial guidance should be built on honesty, transparency, and genuine care for each client’s unique situation.
His background as a basketball coach shapes how he works with clients today. Just as every athlete learns differently, every client has different goals, concerns, and ways of processing information. Shawn takes time to understand what matters most to his clients, then communicates complex financial concepts in ways that make sense for their life. He doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all strategies. Your path should reflect your priorities, not a template.
A Rutgers graduate who still coaches when he can, Shawn brings the same dedication to your financial success that he brings to developing young athletes. When he’s not helping clients, you’ll find him with his two golden doodles, who remind him daily that life’s best moments are worth planning for.
